Imaging and assay

Particle size by dynamic light scattering, TEM analysis, and a full suite of cutting-edge analytics. A single narrow population is the whole point: it is what separates real nanomedicine from cheap counterfeits.

Uniform particles, low polydispersity

Most particles read between 10 and 15 nanometers, with excellent uniformity and low polydispersity. No aggregates, no phase separation. The bar marked 50 nm is the ruler for the whole image. Each dark dot is a single nanoparticle, 10 to 15 nm across.

Telling it apart

Most products sold as nano are counterfeit

Particles this small scatter almost no visible light. The liquid stays transparent and carries the distinct bluish glow of the Tyndall effect, characteristic of authentic nanoparticles. Anything milky or cloudy has droplets hundreds of times larger. Hold it up to print and the human eye can tell without instruments.
